Role & Responsibilities
- Meet with previous supervisors to discuss any issues from the prior shift.
- Manage employee callouts by arranging replacements when necessary.
- Review the current production run list to ensure alignment with schedule and quality standards.
- Conduct a comprehensive walkthrough of the makeup floor, recording essential information on relevant sheets.
- Address and resolve any problems or issues with employees promptly.
- Record all employee injuries on the appropriate documents.
- Ensure employees are performing required tasks, including Quality Check sheets, recording dough schedules, monitoring product temperatures, maintaining housekeeping standards, and working safely.
- Fill out a shift report for each day worked, documenting key activities and observations.
- Communicate any major issues to the Production Manager.
Safety:
Maintain a safe working environment for all employees/contractors.
Promote safety in all areas of operations.
Sanitation:
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Follow proper Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P.s) at all times.
- Other Related Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Production Superintendent or Assistant Production Superintendent.
